Peracon has completed the design for the upgrade of over 1200km of overhead distribution network for Western Power from metropolitan Perth to Geraldton, Albany and Kalgoorlie. The project scope included:

• Asset inspection on site and project scoping for distribution overhead lines from conductor types to defects identification

• Brown field asset surveying

• Review of conductor clashing through detailed investigation followed by mitigation recommendation and detailed design

• Recommendations for assets replacement

• Detailed design of the reconductoring of Western Power distribution network using Poles ‘n’ Wires and PLS CADD softwares
